On January 10th, 2026, at Novotel Saigon Centre Hotel; Cho Ray Hospital, in collaboration with Medtronic, successfully organized a scientific workshop entitled “Advances in the Management of Traumatic Brain and Spinal Injuries.” This important medical event brought together leading experts in neurosurgery to update current trends, emerging technologies, and advanced treatment solutions for complex conditions related to traumatic brain and spinal injuries.
Within the framework of the workshop, Duc Tin Medical Equipment Corporation participated as the official distributor of Medtronic products, Neurosurgery and CFS, in Vietnam. Several key devices were widely introduced to neurosurgeons, including:
- StrataMR Valve - MRI Resistance: an advanced solution for the treatment of hydrocephalus, enabling precise and safe control of intracranial pressure.
- External Drainage System – Duet: an effective cerebrospinal fluid drainage device designed to reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
- High-Speed Drill System – MR8: a cutting-edge technology for neurosurgical procedures, providing high precision and minimizing risks during surgical intervention.

The presence of Duc Tin not only reaffirmed its role as a vital bridge in bringing advanced medical technologies to Vietnamese hospitals but also contributed to improving the overall quality of patient care.
The workshop was chaired by M.D., Ph.D. Tran Huy Hoan Bao, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, Cho Ray Hospital. With many years of experience in neurosurgical surgery, M.D., Ph.D. Bao oriented the workshop content toward a practical approach closely aligned with the current treatment needs of major hospitals. The workshop also featured presentations by distinguished speakers, including M.D., Ph.D. Tran Minh Tri; M.D., Ph.D. Nguyen Van Tuan; M.D., Ph.D. Tran Thien Khiem; M.D. Specialist Level II. Phan Minh Duc.

This event highlighted the strong commitment of Cho Ray Hospital and Medtronic to bringing advanced technologies closer to clinical practice in Vietnam. At the same time, the participation of Duc Tin underscored the important role of distributors in ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality medical devices.
